Backer distribution permissions and end-user license agreement
Each license grants you permission to install program and documentation on up to two computers. However, per license the program may only be used on a single computer simultaneously; this also includes older versions of the product. If the program is installed on a server, only as many clients are permitted to access the program as licenses have been purchased. If clients are accessed from the server, only as many clients are permitted to be accessed as licenses have been purchased. Both restrictions pertain to both simultaneous and non-simultaneous access. Copying or distributing the licensed version or the license key is prohibited. The licensee is permitted to make backup copies for personal use.
Permission is granted to any individual or business to distribute the trial version of Backer, provided they convey a complete and unaltered copy (recompression and decompression is permitted, as well as adding files with distributor information). This permission pertains to any kind of media including WWW and FTP server, CD and DVD, online service and BBS, any form of packaging and bundling, and any distribution fee. Cordes Development may revoke any permissions granted here by notification in writing; a revocation does not pertain to media already manufactured.
