Latest Version Of The CLOX Tmezone Clocks App

CLOX by MiRaGe Audio Visual Media is an easy to use app that gives you clocks showing the time in user-selected time zones. The new version 8 signals a radical departure from the look of the previous versions. You can instantly customize and skin the display to your taste, choosing from no less than 15 built-in display styles, set the language the size and type of clocks, and other elements. Local time and UTC (GMT) can optionally be displayed along with the date overlaid on a world daylight map, with up to ten user selected time zones shown on analog and digital clocks. All the settings are remembered automagically, no need to save any changes. The integrated news feed, timezone and daylight saving time reference database provide a convenient way to help ensure that your timezone clocks are kept showing the correct times.

CLOX 8.02 8 is wonderfully simple, pleasurable and fairly intuitive to use. A detailed user guide is supplied but you' ll probably figure most things out without needing to give it more than a glance. Email and web support is free if you have a question.

If you' ve family, friends or do business across different time zones then CLOX [clox8.02.exe] is a fantastic, solid, great-looking timekeeping tool that' s available for both desktop and mobile. If you' re ever short of time don' t worry, with CLOX - 4.96MB you will literally have all the time in the world!
The popular ' CLOX 8.02' timezone clocks from MiRaGe Audio Visual Media, is back in the form of CLOX 8. This latest and greatest version has been built from the ground up with a completely new look. . . well lots of new looks actually because it can be customized in virtually every way imaginable, making it both easy on the eye and highly adaptable to different users' needs and the whole gamut of different screen sizes we encounter from huge HD desktop wall-mounted screens right down to the kind of
thing you can put in your shirt pocket and forget that it' s there. . . And that in fact is one of the many cool things that CLOX 8 has to shout about because no longer does the mighty, worldly CLOX need to remain shackled to the screen of your Windows desktop or clunky laptop, if you' re running the Android or Winphone version you can take it anywhere. (rumours of an iOS version coming soon too. )
To say that CLOX 8 is easy to use is perhaps an understatement, once you' ve set some clocks to show timezones you want to see, all that remains is to make the difficult decisions about which of the many built-in display styles (skins anyone? ) you' re going to go with, what size you want the clocks to be, will they be analog or digital or both? What about displaying a calendar or a daylight map? . . . Or having some info overlaid on the map? Never mind, no matter. . . if you pick the moody ' limelight' , classy ' vintage' or the pink and yellow ' shocked' theme and then change your mind, just like everything else in the app, it only takes a couple of clicks to tweak it so it' s right.
Users of earlier versions of CLOX may be surprised, even disappointed, at the disappearance of features like the auto time correction, alarm clock and the plugin accessories but as the publishers point out these added bells and whistles cano distract from the main purpose of the app which is tracking multiple time zones. Anyway, most modern operating systems already have time correction and alarms, and CLOX 8 already supports up to a dozen timezones without plugins. That should be more than enough for just about anyone. The point is that without all that extra baggage the new CLOX is not only leaner, cleaner, bigger and brighter than its ancestors, but it is also delightfully straightforward to use as a result. The CLOX TIMES newsfeed feature is still there, as is the timezone reference search box. The previous versions of CLOX were a hit with ' serious' users like airlines and the military, partly because of the solid reliability but also probably because there was no trying to second-guess what was going to be happening with the time zones users need to keep an eye on. CLOX 8 is just the same in this respect. It lets to the user to decide what captions to put with each clock, what timezones and DST changes to set whilst providing tools to help get it right. BTW you must type TRIAL VERSION in the security code box use the trial version.
