Chrome List 0.3
FIREFOX ADDON CHROME LIST
Lets you take a peek at the files under the hood of your Firefox or Thunderbird installation and profile. Also works with XULRunner applications (starting XULRunner 1.9a7)
Chrome List adds an "Explore Chrome..." item to the Tools menu, from which you can:
- browse the structure of chrome:// as if it were a normal directory tree.
- open chrome:// mapped files in Firefox/Thunderbird;
- view the source code of such files;
- save such files to somewhere else;
- inspect where the files are being mapped from (jar files, local directory, etc.);
- look for them in LXR;
- list possible problems with the Chrome Manifests in use in the Error Console;
- Launch an editor to edit files from their chrome listing, rather than painfully going through your profile directory.
Note that this extension is not going to be very useful for you unless you're actually interested in the inner workings of Firefox, Thunderbird or (some of) the extensions you have installed.
What is new in 0.3 software version? - This release drops compatibility with Fx/TB 2. This is because I was going nuts trying to support roughly 3 different nsIZipReader APIs. If you're currently writing add-ons, it'd be best to check them against 3.0 first of all anyway - and any chrome manifest problems should show up there, too.. What is expected in the future? Newly-made Chrome List 0.4 be downloaded from current page, we also looking forward to unconfirmed 0.5 release build. You may download addon-4453-latest.xpi directly, estimated download time by Dialup or GPRS [~56 kbit/s] is 0:00:06. Just write the reviews of the Chrome List. System requirements are unspecified. Program has been scanned and verified by the several antivirus and anti-spyware applications and Chrome List found to be clean. The default languages that are installed in Chrome List are not defined.
