Important Things First
IMPORTANT NOTICE
If you have already deleted a file and looking for a data recovery tool, do not save the Fix My Files downloadable installation file onto the disk that contains the deleted files! Do not install Fix My Files onto that disk as well. Use a separate disk, a different partition, or make use of a USB flash memory stick or memory card to save the downloaded installation file and to install Fix My Files to. It is imperative that you do not write anything onto a disk that contains lost files, corrupted data or deleted documents. Otherwise, you are taking the risk of losing the deleted files forever.

Network (Ethernet) storage devices are not supported.
