Gwendolyn the Given Name Database distribution permissions and end-user license agreement
By installing and using the program Gwendolyn the Given Name Database you accept all terms and conditions of the following license agreement:
Gwendolyn is shareware. You can freely copy the unregistered trial version of the program and distribute it further. However, you are only allowed to distribute the complete and unmodified setup file, and only without cost for the program itself.
You are allowed to use the trial version without a time limit as long as you like.
Registering the program and buying a license gives you the right to install and use the fully functional program on your own computer. Installing it on several of your own computers is allowed as long as you do not use it on more than one computer at the same time. For using it simultaneously on several computers you have to buy the corresponding number of separate licenses.
You are not allowed to make your registration information and your license key available to anybody else. Making copies of the installed program folder and its contents is only allowed for backup purposes.
You are not allowed to modify the program in any way.
The author refuses liability for any losses and damages that result from the use of the program and liability for any loss of data entered by the user in the maximum extent allowed by current law.
No information about program functionality nor any other description of the program shall be understood as a legally binding guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose.
The database of given names that is included with the program is a separate work in the sense of copyright laws. René Brunner, the author of the program, is the sole owner of the copyright © of the database. Registering the program and buying a license gives you the right to use the database by means of the program, but does not give you any rights beyond this, especially no right for publication.
