Hard Disk Sentinel 3. 30 provides accurate information about both hard disks and even the newest Solid State Disk (SSD) devices.
Hard Disk Sentinel 3. 30 has improved hardware support and increased compatibility with different RAID controllers. Version 3. 30 can detect and manage hard disks configured into RAID arrays on Silicon Image RAID controllers (and also supports various RAID controllers like LSI SAS/SATA, DELL PERC 5/6, NVDIA, 3ware/AMCC, Areca, HighPoint) - or when Windows software RAID is used.
Now it is possible to adjust the Advanced Power Management level and Free Fall Control sensor sensitivity (if supported by the drive and hard disk controller driver) to maximise data safety and disk performance.
The custom temperature thresholds allow flexible configuration of alerts as each disk drive may have different settings for yellow and red alert levels.
Hard Disk Sentinel warns upon possible temperature and hardware related problems and allows the user to take necessary actions. The PRO version has scheduled backup features to prevent data loss caused by not only disk failures but also accidental delete or malware.
