FIREFOX ADDON INDIC INPUT EXTENSION
Indian Language input for your Firefox! Supports Inscript, WX and Phonetic.
Supports Inscript and WX layout input in Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarathi, Gurmukhi, Oriya, Malayalam, Nepali, Kannada and Hindi. RTS (Phonetic) input is supported for Marathi, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
Uses Ctrl + Space as shortcut to toggle between the last used Indic Map and Default system input.
Note: Proper viewing of Indic text requires a patched browser. Ubuntu, Debian and Fedora ship with the patched Firefox. You also need fonts for Indic Scripts (http://www.indlinux.org/wiki/index.php/IndicFontsList)
WinXP requires setting up the Complex Text Rendering support for Indic Scripts. Visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:INDIC for details instructions for all platforms.
