MITCalc by MITCalc is a multi-language set of mechanical, industrial and technical calculations for the day-to-day routines. It will reliably, precisely, and most of all quickly guide customer through the design of components, the solution of a technical problem, or a calculation of an engineer point without any significant need for expert knowledge.
MITCalc 1.73 contains both design and check calculations of many common tasks, such as: spur and bevel gear, worm gear, planetary gear, gear rack, belt and chain gear, bearings, beam, pins, buckling, shaft, springs, bolt connection, shaft connection, welding, tolerance analysis, tolerances, plates, shells, aerodynamics, technical formulas and many others.
There are also many material, comparison, and decision tables, including a system for the administration of resolved tasks. The calculations support both Imperial and Metric units and are processed according to ANSI, ISO, DIN, EN, BS, CSN and Japanese standards. It is an open system designed in Microsoft Excel which allows not only easy user-defined modifications and user extensions without any programming skills, but also mutual interconnection of the calculations, which is unique in the development of tailor-made complex calculations.
The sophisticated interaction with many 2D CAD systems (AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, IntelliCAD, Ashlar Graphite, TurboCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD, ProgeCAD) allows the relevant drawing to be developed in a few seconds. The support of 3D CAD systems covers Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge and Creo.

MITCalc - 48.99MB has released version 1. 73 of his mechanical engineering calculations.
New calculations:
Gear rack design - the calculation is designed for geometric and strength design and check of gear rack with straight and helical toothing.
Calculation of the Involute splines - the calculation is designed to create a detail and accurate drawing (model) of the involute spline.
Vehicle aerodynamics - the calculation is intended for simple simulation of vehicle motion.
External ballistics - the program is intended for simple simulation of the firing of various types of bullets.
Calculation extensions and modifications:
Support of the 2D CAD systems BricsCAD, ZWCAD and ProgeCAD.
Update of support of all 2D/3D CAD system (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Creo).
Calculations and conversions of the oil viscosity values.
Updated SKF bearing database, new profiles HEA, HEB.
New translation for another 15 languages.

Complete implementation of standards ISO 6336-1-2-3-5:2006, ISO 1265, ISO 1328-1-2:1997, ISO 1122-1:1998, ANSI/AGMA 2001-D04, AGMA 908-B89, ANSI/AGMA 2015- 1-A01, ANSI/AGMA 2015-2-A06.
Extended by a whole range of tools that make designing, dimension checking, tolerances proposals and defining of the new materials simpler.
Bolted connection:
About 190 new bolt materials have been added according to ASTM, ISO and EN. The database of the materials of the jointed parts was expanded. An option for design and testing of hollow bolts was added. More modern methods are used in the calculation of rigidity. The strength test of a dynamically loaded joint was expanded with testing of the bolt in the weakened shank. Also was modified and refined the calculation of joint parameters for a specific working temperature.
