Full-featured mass mailer for the Apple Macintosh computer supporting message templates and recipient databases. It offers everything you need to create and maintain mailing lists for different needs and send mass messages directly form your Mac at a very high speed.
The program uses Apple Mail's message delivery framework to deliver your messages. This means that 100 percent of your email messages will get delivered properly to recipient mailboxes as if they were delivered by Apple Mail in a regular way.
The recipient database is fully customizable. You can add as many recipient fields as you want and use them in message templates for the purpose of personalizing your messages. Each recipient will receive an individualized message as if it were separately sent with Apple Mail personally for him in a regular way. The message creation mechanism is the same as in Apple Mail. Each message may contain colorful text in different fonts, pictures and attachments. You can even copy an HTML document to the clipboard and then paste it to the message editor of Mac Mass Mailer if you already have one ready to be sent.
Mac Mass Mailer also lets you suspend your current sending and resume it later at any time. This mechanism works on a per-document basis. Every mailing project can be suspended and resumed independently. Sending statistics is greatly visualized. You do not have to deal with log files you do not understand. It's as simple as one, two and three; in your mailing groups, the successful recipients become green, the bad recipients become red and the unprocessed ones stay black as they were before you hit the Start button.
The Import and Export feature in the program is so powerful that you can import email addresses and other recipient data from virtually any files. The program can even travel through your hard drive and extract all email addresses from all your files and directories.
The user interface is designed according to Mac OS X guidelines.
When it comes to sending personalized email messages, newsletters or notifications to your customers, some challenges usually arise. The most common problem is SMTP account limiting by email providers. Normally, nearly all email providers do not allow you to send more than 100 email messages per hour unless you pay them big bucks.
To overcome this limitation, we designed Mac Mass Mailer in such a way that you can use a number of SMTP accounts at the same time to deliver your messages. Once the currently active SMTP account fails, it is paused for an hour, and the next SMTP account on the list is used. If the second SMTP account fails, it is also paused and the third account is used.
This scenario repeats until all SMTP accouns fail. By the time the last SMTP account fails, one of the previously failed accounts can be reused again, therefore the whole procedure repeats again and again until all your messages are delivered successfully. If there is no available SMTP account to be reused at a certain point of time, Mac Mass Mailer will make a pause after which sending will be resumed.
Another common problem is spam blocking. Normally, your IP address can be blocked if you send messages too fast. Some mail servers consider it DDoS attack and block your IP address for 24 hours. To overcome this problem Mac Mass Mailer features throttling and sending speed management. You can set it up in such a way that your email messages will be delivered in batches by lets say 100 messages per hour, not faster than 1 message per second. This way, Mac Mass Mailer behaves as a normal email client without abusing Internet and email providers. The process is completelly automated, therefore you can simply leave it for a day on its own until all of your messages are successfully delivered.
