FIREFOX ADDON OPEN IT ONLINE
Open IT Online allows you to open your documents and images online without the need of any software to be installed. Open IT Online supports Google Docs, Google Apps, Zoho, ThinkFree and Vuzit online services. It handles:
- Documents (*.doc, *.docx, *.rtf, *.odt, *.sxw)
- Spreadsheets (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.csv, *.ods, *.sxc)
- Presentations (*.ppt, *.pptx, *.pps, *.odp, *.sxi)
- Images (*.jpg, *.gif, *.png)
When Firefox encounters one of the file types supported by Open IT Online, it shows the "Open With" dialog: if you have installed Open IT Online, you will get, among the others, an option to open the file online. Choosing this option, you will also have the possibility to choose which online service you want to use to open the file.
Open IT Online shows you also the file size of the document you could see online: this information helps you determining if you want to open the file online or not.

- Added capability to open Excel 2007 files with Google Docs and Google Apps.
- Fixed bug preventing to open images in Firefox 3.5 (imageURL has been replaced by mediaURL).
- Fixed bug causing the menu items of Open IT Online to be shown at the top

- Added a check to make sure that the user gets the "Open With" dialog after having installed
