FIREFOX ADDON PLAIN TEXT LINKS
With any text that can be treated as a URL, using this extension you can right click on the text and select "Open this URL". You can use ctrl+click or shift+click to open in a new tab or window, respectively.
What is new in 0.3 software version? - Now in version 0.3, there is only one menu item—"Open Selected URL". Simply clicking the menu item will open the link in the current tab. You can control + click or middle click the menu item to open the link in a new tab, or shift + click the link to open it in a new window.
