CANG JIE DICTIONARY IS FREEWARE CJK IME TOOL
SeeUse Cang Jie Dictionary is an electronic dictionary giving an accurate and instant Cang Jie character code look-up facility, which may be always at your hand.
This freeware application is designed to help everyone, who wishes to have a handy tool to find a Cang Jie code for a given character either by the character itself or by a fuzzy (i.e. containing placeholders a-la regular expressions) code.
This application user interface may be Russian or English as you wish, of course.
One can install and use this application on virtually any flavor of Windows® operating systems.
To those users who are pretty familiar with the input method it won't be troublesome to get comfortable in working with the program.

Cang Jie is not widely used method as, for instance, 拼音 (Pin Yin) or 注音符號(Bo Po Mo Fo); however, for most Chinese language PC users it is the most difficult to master; it is natural due to some other, more obvious, easier to learn and intuitive methods. But when it comes to effectiveness of use it depends, and it does significantly.

Moreover, each and every keyboard has, as a matter of fact, a Latin ABC layout and it seems to be forever. Is it good or evil? It is hard to say for sure, indeed; at least, what is obvious to make use of is the everlasting possibility to memorize the Latin keyboard at once and re-use this layout for any other language layout during one's life. Here is the start point of this story and comes the most important part of it.
Just like you studied mathematics in the primary school and when you'd learn first 10 digits you were said that from now on you are able to put down any number possible with those ten digits, when you've mastered, say, a Latin keyboard layout you are getting a potential ability to type in any other language, or almost any.
For those languages having written system that goes beyond a plain ABC it is impossible to design a keyboard; and we have such a case with Chinese language. The smart guys overcame the limitations with some subsets of keys, i.e. they designed key combinations to type a character. Simple and easy solution, really, but not for those who has to learn such an input method.
The real life, as usual, makes a big, big difference: the number of Chinese characters available on PC's systems is around 20, 000 for the CJK set of built-in mappings, and it is next to impossible to learn the whole bunch of rules for all of them in a week or even in a month; besides, there are such weird things like a human nature with its ability to forget something that may be extremely important here and now.
