FIREFOX ADDON TICKER TOOL
Ticker Tool is a small search box used to search stock tickers on Google Finance, Yahoo Finance and sec.gov.
Use the mouse or press Ctrl + . to move the cursor to Ticker Tool's search box.
Once the cursor is in the search box, type in a ticker symbol and then...
- Click the G button or hit Enter to query Google Finance.
- Click the ! button or hit Ctrl + Enter to query Yahoo! Finance.
- Click the flag button or hit Alt + Enter to query sec.gov.
If you right-click the buttons, you will get your page in a new tab.
In addition, if you are working on Google or Yahoo! Finance, Ticker Tool will pre-fill its search box with the ticker you are working on. This makes it easy to look up a particular stock on multiple sites.
Note: The Firebug extension interferes with the Ctrl-. keyboard shortcut.
