VShell 3. 9 extends support for FTPS to the UNIX platform, allowing secure file transfer using the FTP protocol with SSL/TLS encryption. VShell with FTPS can also be configured to support plain-text connections via FTP for those who may require legacy connectivity. This latest release also adds support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.
VShell 3. 9 server introduces new configuration options, including the ability in the Windows version to change virtual root permissions from the VShellConfig command-line utility. New connection filters have also been added to the subconfiguration options.
