WordReference Translator 1.4.1
FIREFOX ADDON WORDREFERENCE TRANSLATOR
For Firefox and Thunderbird.
On non-editable boxes, select text and just press "D".
On editable boxes, select text andby mouse or keyboard:
- On window menu: "Tools" > "Translate"
- On contextual menu: "Translate"
A new tab with the translated word or expression at WordReference will appear. Once read, you can close it by pressing Ctrl+W.
Available translation languages are:
With english:

With spanish, moreover:

On WordReference Translator with Firefox 2 on Mac OS X: With this combination there is a bug that I probably will not fix. Please use Firefox 3 instead. The bug is that pressing "d" on editable boxes triggers the extension main function (opening a tab with wordreference.com). Technically I think the problem is that the events are not managed in the same way. In the ideal case, this key pressing does not arrive to the extension; it is captured first by someone (OS or browser, I don't know). I prioritize doing other things over fixing this because I think the cost will be high for me and the result will get an almost null impact on the future for all. Excuse the nuisance and thank you.
What is new in 1.4.1 software version? - In preferences dialog, languages radiogroup became too populated to fit in small screens. Now it is represented as a menulist.. What is expected in the future? Newly-made WordReference Translator 1.5 be downloaded from current page, we also looking forward to unconfirmed 1.6 release build.
