XlAdHider is easy to use but effective at hiding in-page advertisements. The advertisements are hidden behind a gray cover. The cover can be removed and the advertisement be made visible at any time. XlAdHider hides images and Flash movies from HTTP servers that you specify. This can be very effective at hiding advertisements since the advertisements in a web page are usually served by dedicated advertisement HTTP servers that are different from the HTTP server that served the main contents of the web page. Alternatively, XlAdHider can hide all Flash movies and GIF animations in a web page. This also can be very effective at hiding advertisements since there is a very high probability that a Flash movies or GIF animation is an advertisement. The advertisements are just hidden and XlAdHider allows you to unhide a particular hidden element (or all hidden elements) if you wish to view it (or them). For hidden ads XlAdHider will also disable the rollover actions for that ad.
