Rwsop.com, online gaming community for casino and poker players has launched their own exclusive toolbar.
A toolbar usually runs above your web browser and contains a search bar. Rio Poker has taken this concept a step further and added more functionality to theirs.
When asked, Rwsop.com founder Johan Lev said "It's important for us to make the overall experience of our user as effective as possible. This toolbar differs from all others in many ways, the main one being that there are absolutely no ads and no ghost software." Johan went on to say that there were many benefits. In point form:
Internet Radio: Perhaps one of the easiest to use internet radios available they say. It is in the toolbar so as long as you're browsing you could play music from any radio station around the world. With the easy to use search function, you could customize the radio station list with just a few clicks.
Weather: Your location is automatically determined and you receive local temperature and weather conditions live on your toolbar. There are other features as well they went on to explain such as an RSS Feeder preloaded with Entertainment News, Poker News. Johan said "We want to give our users exactly what they need and even more, we don't want to be intrusive. This toolbar has just that and from our initial market research we see that if a person uses it for an hour, they will continue to use it, in addition, you don't even have to be an online gambler to use it, this toolbar is designed for use by everybody."
There appears to be positive feedback coming from users of the Rwsop.com Toolbar. Truth is, there are many toolbars out there, but most are made with the advertiser and not end user in mind.
